PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Paula is a specialist in EU Law and International Arbitration at B. Cremades y Asociados. She joined the firm as a lawyer in June 2022.

Prior to joining B. Cremades y Asociados, Paula worked as an administrator (legal officer) at the Court of Justice of the European Union, preparing research notes and preliminary analysis of the preliminary rulings, as well as summaries of judgments and orders published in the European Court Reports.

Previously, Paula worked as an Assistant Legal Counsel at the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA), providing legal and administrative support to arbitral tribunals in international arbitrations conducted under the auspices of the PCA. In addition, she participated in proceedings for the designation of appointing authorities by the PCA Secretary General and related matters under the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) Arbitration Rules.

Furthermore, Paula worked as a research assistant in a project about enforcement of arbitral awards in investment arbitration at the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands and as an assistant professor in the Trilingual University diploma in Comparative Law at the Rey Juan Carlos University, Madrid, Spain.

Paula was also an intern at UNCITRAL and with two international arbitrators, performing the duties of secretary to the arbitral tribunals.
